To help you find TCI products via our Online Catalog, we offer various search methods.
Details on how to search for our products are shown below. Any steps to be taken after retrieving the search result will be explained on each page.
Search by Structure
If you click on the button, JME Molecular Editor (JME, a structural drawing tool)will be displayed.
You may choose either method of Molecular Input Methods.
If you choose "JME Editor", draw the structure you require by JME Editor. If you choose "SMILES", enter the SMILES in the text box.
(Please refer to the help section which is displayed below the drawing tool window.)
Select the number of results to be shown and click on the selected search button to start the search.
Notice: JavaScript must be enabled on your browser to use JME.
To use, JME Editor Java Software (Free) is required.
Download Java Software from here.
Search by Identifiers (Chemical name, molecular formula, CAS Number or Product Number)
You can search for the products you require by chemical name, molecular formula, CAS Number or Product Number.
If you click on this button, a drop-down menu will be displayed which allows you to select the search category. Enter the details (which should be no longer than 30 characters) into the text box and then click on the search button to start.
How to enter your query will differ according to the identifier selected:

| Chemical Name | Partial text match |
The search result shows all products which include the text entered in their chemical name. You can enter more than one word by separating them with a space. |
| CAS Number | Full text match |
The search result shows the product having exactly the same CAS Number as that entered. |
| Formula Index | Partial text match |

Search by Keyword
We have two options to search by keyword.
*Keywords are words indicating, for example, the general area of application (eg Analytical Chemistry), specific chemical uses (eg Oxidizing Agent) or structural type (eg “3 member ring”).
1. Search by your own keyword
Enter your keyword (which should be no longer than 30 characters) into the text box and then click on the search button to start search.
2. Search by using our keyword index
